Facilities Project Coordinator
who is fueled by problem-solving, continuously curious, and driven to understand our world, science/technology, and life itself, for the benefit of all on Earth and beyond.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget

Working with facility management to develop department and project budgets
-
Budget tracking and analysis
-
Process purchase request, track vendor funding and prepare reports
-
Verify final invoice pricing in a timely manner

Maintains files on work orders, proposals, and department files
-
Oversee assigned projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, to closure

Develop schedules for all facility projects and work with project managers to keep schedules current

Assist in the monitoring and assessment of vendor performance
-
Provide facilities helpdesk services and monitor internal/external workflow for all facilities projects to ensure consistent quality of service and work product

Produce and maintain accurate, neat, and effective CAD drawings for all facilities
-
Assist with the planning and implementation of personnel and equipment moves
-
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with projects architects, engineers, and contractors

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, education, and training

1 year of experience in the facilities, construction, or design industry

Proficiency in Microsoft office, AutoCAD, Facility Management Software and Microsoft Project
Essential Functions
Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
Requirements

Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.

Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
