✨ About The Role
Responsible for owning hardware from conceptual design through test and production for Loft satellites
Develop design criteria, collaborate on requirements, and drive satellite system optimization
Perform detailed structural and thermal analysis to design robust space hardware
Support environmental and performance testing on hardware to validate analysis and demonstrate compliance to design criteria
Demonstrate strong ownership of technical deliverables as well as schedules, supply chain, and operations.

Passionate mechanical engineer with at least 1 year of design experience using 3D CAD software and 2D drawings
Experience in thermal and structural design and analysis, as well as selecting materials and manufacturing methods for mechanical components
Strong ownership of technical deliverables, schedules, and operations
Articulate and able to handle customer meetings confidently
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
