Job Overview
We are seeking a Tech Ops Specialist focused on the development, testing, and deployment of our autonomous maritime vessels. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to ensure the seamless integration and operation of ASV technologies in various environments and missions.
Responsibilities
- System Integration: Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate hardware, software, and sensor systems into ASVs, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation procedures to verify the functionality, reliability, and safety of ASV systems under different conditions and scenarios
- Deployment Support: Provide technical support during ASV deployment activities, including system setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure mission readiness
- Operational Support: Assist in developing operational procedures and protocols for ASV missions, including pre-mission checks, data collection, and post-mission analysis
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for optimization and enhancement in ASV systems and processes, contributing to ongoing innovation and improvement initiatives
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ASV configurations, procedures, and test results to support internal teams and regulatory compliance requirements
- Training: Conduct training sessions for internal staff and end-users on ASV operation, maintenance, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- Experience in technical operations, system integration, or field support, preferably in the maritime or defense industry
- Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics, sensor technologies, and maritime navigation principles
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing solutions under pressure
- Willingness to travel occasionally for field deployments and customer support activities
